FAQ

How do I pay?
Cash or check made payable to “Soccer Tykes”, or Venmo.
The two times to submit payment are either:

1) Soccer Tykes Venmo.
or
2) At your first class if you choose to pay by cash or check.

Please place your payment in an envelope with your child’s first and last name printed on the outside and bring it with you on the 1st day you come to class.
*Payment must be submitted before your child can participate in class.

When do I find out my class assignment?
Final class assignments will be sent out 2 weeks before the first week of the Soccer Tykes season.

Do you offer make-up classes for when my child misses?
We do allow make-ups as long as there is a another class of the same age on a different day.

Do classes get cancelled due to weather conditions?
We will cancel classes if there is rain, lightning, or a safety concern. Classes will be re-scheduled as soon as possible. We will always email parents in the case of a class cancellation due to weather conditions.
Please note: make-up days can be any day of the week, including Friday, Saturday, or Sunday. We will contact you as soon as we know there will be a cancellation.

What do I need to bring/wear?
We recommend you wear comfortable clothing, tennis shoes or cleats, and shinguards. Bring plenty of water!

What is Soccer Tykes?
Soccer Tykes is not a league, it is a program to teach young children the basics of soccer. We offer once-a-week classes (for 8 weeks at a time) to introduce the game of soccer and allow an opportunity for your child to develop his or her soccer, social, and motor skills.

What size t-shirt should I order for my child?
2 year old – youth XS
3 year old – youth XS or youth S
4 year old – youth XS or S
5 year old – youth S
